How well recognized was Hayek's The Sensory Order before a number of minor revivals that occurred starting in the 1970s? Well, the answer to this question is not terribly obvious. To begin, I extracted citations from Semantic Scholar. However, Semantic Scholar was missing an number of important citations that appeared in books and various working papers and was even missing citations from some journals. I have combined the two sources. I am confident about those sources that I found on my own. One strange citation that stands out is the John Taylor citation, to which I do not currently have access. I imagine that this is not a totally exhaustive listing, but after several months of working with the topic, doing a significant amount of searching, I expect that it is close. I have not included book reviews, though I may add them later. For example, Boring would be an important book review to include, however, I am not aware that Boring cited The Sensory Order in his own work.

I have added the full dataset from Semantic Scholar. I recommend that you select one year at a time once you get to more recent decades.You can do this by increase the Minimnum Year past the currently selected Maximum Year and vice versa. Don't select all years at once as you will select to many observations. I might add some more gadgets to help with navigation (perhaps by author), but this will require some standardization that may not be present in the raw data from Semantic Scholar.
